The various areas on campus that generate waste have established companies that pick up hazardous waste for disposal.

Some waste can be evaporated down to reduce the quantity and some can be treated and filtered to reduce the amount. Downsizing a lab or pairing students up is another option to reduce waste.

Currently, Excel spreadsheets containing chemical inventories are used.

Campus generated E-waste is recycled through the Surplus Property Office. Student generated waste is accumulated and then recycled by the Sustainability office.

Containers are made available throughout campus to facilitate E-waste recycling.
