UNCG recently implemented the Course Leaf curriculum database management system which allowed us to conduct a more thorough search of sustainability focused and inclusive courses in our course catalog compared to our last STARS submissions in 2019. Additionally, to meet accreditation requirements, courses in the catalog that were previously listed as 500 level and included both undergrad and graduate students are now listed as 400, 600, or 700 level courses, each with different learning outcomes based on education level. Furthermore, based on the notes from the previous responsible party for submitting this data in 2019 only courses in a few programs (Sustainability Studies, Biology, and Interior Architecture) were included in the reporting, however, this year, thanks to the new Course Leaf database we were able to identify more courses in a wider array of departments.
