Through scholarship, teaching, and service, the Department of Geography seeks to bring about sustainable human interaction with the natural environment at community, national, and global scales.

Liberal Studies (BA) Environmental Studies
Environmental Studies is an interdisciplinary major that integrates study of the environment from the perspectives of the natural sciences, social sciences, and arts and humanities.

Sustainable Tourism & Hospitality (BA)
The Sustainable Tourism and Hospitality program is committed to preparing our students to take on leadership positions in the global tourism and hospitality sector. We strive to impart 21st century skills to students so they can become global citizens, solve complex problems by using sustainable development tools and a triple-bottom line approach, think innovatively and entrepreneurially, and communicate effectively. Our students engage in sustainability-focused tourism and hospitality courses, work experience, and community projects and increase their global awareness through language study, and international experiences.
