Does the institution offer free or reduced price transit passes and/or operate a free campus shuttle?:
A brief description of the program:
All UNCG students, staff, and faculty may ride GTA (Greensboro Transit Authority) and HEAT (Higher Education Area Transit) local transit buses fare-free. Also, employees may purchase PART (Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation) regional transit passes pre-tax. Student regional transit fares are discounted 50%.
UNCG also provides the free Spartan Chariot campus loop shuttle service to reduce driving on campus.
