The University gives employees access to Percipio which has a number of videos, books, and courses learning about, implementing, and overcoming sustainability challenges.
A brief description of any external professional development and training opportunities in sustainability that are supported by the institution :
All employees have free open access to the USGBC platform and courses. The university was also a host institution for the 2022 GCSHE conference and passes were offered to employees and students. In addition, other employees in Facilities including the sustainability officer and energy manager attend the Appalachian Energy Summit every year.
