EcoReps

A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):

EcoReps are paid student workers in the Office of Sustainability. They conduct peer-to-peer outreach based on campus sustainability goals and programs. Duties include face-to-face education at campus venues, and event support. EcoReps are trained in peer education and behavior change techniques. Allied programs that help identify and support EcoReps programming include Student Volunteering, Recycling, Grounds, Transportation, Dining, Student Pantry, and Recreational Services. Seasonal promotions include Campus Sustainability Week, Earth Month, Hunger & Homelessness Week, I Heart Water, Transportation Fair, and Student Garden Day.

The target audience of the EcoReps is their fellow peers. Typically around the ages of 18-24.
