Has the institution published its water footprint or a sustainable water balance assessment within the previous three years?:
Narrative outlining the methodology used to calculate the institution’s water footprint or sustainable water balance:
To generate the water balance, the total precipitation for campus for one year was compared to the total potable water consumption on campus for one year. Precipitation was determined by multiplying the annual rainfall and campus acreage and correcting for evapotranspiration. The net precipitation for campus was determined to be 427,368,798 gallons for FY23. The metered potable water consumption for the same year was 380,113,000. The water balance for this year was net positive at 47,255,798 gallons.
