A brief description of the metering system:
All buildings are metered for electricity, steam, and chilled water. Steam and chilled water metering is real time with consumption and trend data available electronically to system operators. 90% plus of our electric load metering is real time with active projects to connect additional meters to the central system. The buildings served by natural gas also have natural gas meters.
