Does campus dining operations offer discounts to customers who use reusable mugs instead of disposable cups in to-go food service operations?:
A brief description of the reusable mug program:
Carolina Dining Services offers a ten percent discount at all retail food locations when students use their resuable mugs or water bottles. Additionally, Carolina Dining Services created a partnership with the Sustainability Office and its Carolina Green program: Students may receive a 10 percent discount on any fountain beverage with the use of their Carolina Green reusable water bottles. Students may also purchase Carolina Green reusable coffee mugs (sold at all Carolina Dining Services retail locations), receiving their first hot beverage for free and 10 percent off additional beverage purchases with the use of their mugs.
