A brief description of the enterprise:
The Center for Sustainable Enterprise (CSE) at UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School provides many ways for students to get involved and gain valuable sustainable business skills, including the award-winning CSE Consulting enterprise. CSE Consulting provides consulting services to for-profit and nonprofit businesses. Rising second-year MBA students compete to participate in the program. The students make actionable recommendations specific to the individual client via an eleven-week consulting engagement that ultimately advances people, prosperity, and the planet. These projects give students practical application experience and provide exceptional research and analysis to organizations in the areas of business planning, marketing, finance, operations, and strategy related to sustainability. The CSE also collaborates with governmental and non-governmental organizations on joint research initiatives during the school year.
