Both of UNH's dinng halls, Holloway Commons and Philbrook, are 4-star certified by the Green Restaurant Association. In addition, UNH Conferences and Catering, and the UNH Dairy Bar, are 3-star Green Restaurant certified.  Holloway Commons, the largest dining hall, features multiple food stations where fresh items are cooked on demand. Stillings and Philbrook Dining Halls include specialties such as allergen friendly and vegan stations. The Dairy Bar focuses on fresh, healthy, and local (when possible) offerings for breakfast and lunch as well as sales of local ice cream. In these four outlets and across dining operations, UNH Hospitality Services has committed to sourcing local and sustainable food, recycling and composting organics, investing in energy efficient and Energy Star rated equipment and conserving water.
