Estimated from prior year comprehensive standardized transportation surveys completed by the UNH Survey Center, parking permit applications, and logical assumptions for the Durham-based population, the figures above represent the mode split for students in past GHGI reports and this update.
Comprehensive transportation surveys are completed every five years, sponsored by UNH Facilities in partnership with the Transportation Policy Committee and the Energy Task Force. The survey was most recently completed in spring 2016.
