Student Environmental Action Coalition presents “350 Week” at UNH. SEAC held one event each day for the week of October 19, 2009 to support 350 Week as a way to spread awareness and let our government know that we support change towards support of environmental and sustainable initiatives. The events are as follows:

o Monday, Oct 19: Really Free Market! One student's trash is another's treasure! Murkland Lawn. 11-2 p.m. Bring your used goods to Murkland! Professor of Political Science, Stacy VanDeveer, will speak about environmental policy in Horton Hall 2-3 p.m.
o Tuesday, Oct 20: Eco Advocates' waste watch challenge!! Dorm Black Out!
o Wednesday, Oct 21: Energy Club Presents: Steve Miller, Climate Connections: Exploring the Scientific Links Between Energy & Climate Change. 7:00 p.m. MUB Strafford Room
o Thursday, Oct 22: Join us for a Vigil in Downtown Durham 3-5 p.m. Bring your energy! Don't miss Melodeego, our favorite Soul and Roll Band! 9-11 p.m. in the MUB Food Court SIC'em sponsored!
o Friday, Oct 23: Repower America Presents: Veteran's Bus Tour! A national veteran's bus tour from Pennsylvania is stopping in Nashua at 9 a.m., Manchester, at 11:30 and in Concord at around 4. Some transportation provided.
o Saturday, Oct 24: 11 a.m. 350 Day of Action! Mural Unveiling! Head down to Hayden Sports and be one of the first to view a mural created by your fellow UNH students and Durham community members.

Local Harvest Feast. Held each September, the Local Harvest Feast is a day of fine dining on mouth-watering creations served at all three dining halls and produced from local foods. Open to the public and students alike, this hugely popular event is a chance for attendees to learn why supporting local agriculture and food producers is so important. Dialogue Discovery Program. There is an online calendar available displaying all UNH Durham (and UNH Manchester) events as part of the Taking Care of Self and Community dialogue. All events are held on campus and open to the public. There is at least one event per week.

Environmental Sciences Seminar Series. The Fall Environmental Sciences Seminar Series is sponsored by the NRESS Ph.D. Program, the Department of Earth Sciences, the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment, the Environmental Research Group, the Institute for the Study of Earth Oceans and Space (EOS), the University Office of Sustainability, and the Class of 1954 Fund. Spring 2009 Seminar Series. The College of Life Sciences and Agriculture (COLSA) at the University of New Hampshire is hosting a series of seminars in Spring 2009 focused on sustainable agriculture.
