A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
Based on the results of the 2017 Middle-Years University Student Survey. This survey represented a potential 883 UNB Saint John students. Of these students, 42% use sustainable transportation methods. Based on this, it was determined that 371 students on the Saint John campus commute sustainably. In the future, formal Modal Split surveys will be conducted to assess the entire campus community.
