A brief description of the institution's water recovery and reuse initiatives:

The Kinesiology building has a rainwater harvesting system that collects water from the vegetative roof surfaces, and reuses it throughout the building to flush toilets and urinals. The capacity of the rainwater cistern is enough to supply non-potable water for the entire summer months if there was no rain. There are low-flow fixtures throughout the building as well.
