Forestry: A Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BScF) is about trees, plants, water, and wildlife management – the atmosphere, soils, and landscapes. It’s about people’s beliefs and values. It’s about the economy and about spirit. BScF is about managing all these in sustainable ways. It’s about solving complex problems for the benefit of current and future generations.
Forest Engineering: Throughout the program, you will study forest engineering at an advanced level through approved course work and by completing and presenting a major research project on a topic you and your supervisors choose. Students have the opportunity to study in a number of areas that are important to the forestry industry including forest operations and management, bioenergy, and value added & engineered wood product manufacturing.
Environment & Natural Resources: Environment and Natural Resources graduates will learn to solve environmental and natural resource problems from a holistic, systems perspective. They will have skills required to characterize, analyze, and predict change in natural systems. Incorporating their knowledge of land, water, air, plants, animals, and people, they will be able to develop comprehensive solutions to environmental challenges that respect multiple perspectives and demonstrate appropriate stewardship of natural resources

The sustainability course list produced for AC1 was used to identify learning outcomes at the course level. If a program had a mandatory sustainability course, it was counted for this credits as all graduates from that program would have had to have taken that course in order to graduate.
