Part 1. Greenhouse gas emissions inventory

Has the institution conducted a GHG emissions inventory within the previous three years that includes all Scope 1 and 2 emissions? :
Yes

A copy of the most recent GHG emissions inventory:
A brief description of the methodology and/or tool used to complete the GHG emissions inventory:
Methodology used was in accordance with Federal Guidelines. The Federal SWIM online tool was used to submit for the 2019 calendar year. The attached spreadsheet is the inventory for the 2018/2019 fiscal year.
Scope 3 was not reported.

Has the GHG emissions inventory been validated internally by personnel who are independent of the GHG accounting and reporting process and/or verified by an independent, external third party?:
Yes

A brief description of the GHG inventory verification process:
The inventory was completed by UNB's Energy Coordinator. Upon completion, it was verified internally by the Director of Energy and Sustainability. Following this verification, it was submitted to provincial (NB Department of Environment & Local Government), and federal (Environment and Climate Change Canada), government agencies for verification under their individual reporting requirements.
