Wildlife Friendly Gardens
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
Three Wildlife Friendly Gardens were developed in 2015 in partnership with Nature NB. These gardens provided appropriate habitat or food source for local species and help to promote biodiversity on the campus. This enables great educational opportunities for all campus users. The gardens were planted in collaboration with the College Hill Daycare and UNB Early Childhood Centre children, giving them an understanding of the plants and how they function to create habitat or food source for different species.
