UNBF has participated in the consultation for the City of Fredericton's Climate Change Adaptation Plan. Sustainability Coordinator and Climate Change Officer reviewed and provided feedback and suggestions on impact statements and associated actions.

Yes

A brief description of how the institution engages in public policy advocacy for sustainability at the state/provincial/regional level, including the issues, legislation, and ordinances for or against which the institution has advocated:
Energy Manager with Facilities Management presented to MLA's on energy initiatives on campus and encouraged the province to adapt similar initiatives during an open consultation meeting.

Three members of the sustainability team attended the Job Creation and Climate Change Consultation in Fredericton put on by the federal government to work towards delivering results on climate change and to grow a cleaner economy.
