A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
At orientation, reusable water bottles are given to new entering students in addition to information on the hydration stations and composting program at the university. During orientation, two videos are shown. One video is a promotional video on the hydration stations and the other is a promotional video on the composting program at UNLV. Both videos bring a comedic twist to engage students on these important topics.
