Center for Transformative Teaching
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The mission of the Center for Transformative Teaching is to collaborate with educators across departments and programs to promote evidence-based, inclusive, innovative, and effective teaching for all learners. One of the foundation basis of sustainability and resilience is to promote interdisciplinary work and develop ideas that relate to systems thinking. The Center for Transformative Teaching continuously partners with many campus units to provide a variety of programming and to support key initiatives. One of the key initiatives is to work with faculty across different disciplines to develop a new course module explicitly integrating sustainability and resilience concepts into curricular experiences using student-centered pedagogy.
