A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
Bike rentals are available from UNL Outdoor Adventures Bike Shop on a daily, weekend, weekly and semester-long basis. Renters can choose from single speed bikes, mountain bikes, and touring road bikes. All rentals include a helmet and bike lock.

The fall of 2017 marked the launch of the City of Lincoln's bike share program. This program includes two stations on city campus and two on east campus for students to rent bicycles. Students can rent the bikes for $10/year or pay for each ride.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has collaborated with ZipCar, car share for about 5 years. We currently have two ZipCar for service on campus, but we have had up to five. More information can be found at zipcar.com/UNL

The University of Nebraska offers a U Pass program as part of our contracted campus transit system that provides students, staff, and faculty unlimited access to all city bus routes. This service is available to all students, faculty and staff and is funded by parking revenues, a student transit fee and a discounted pass fee.
For biking, UNL has a campus bike shop located in the Outdoor Adventure Center. This bike shop offers semester and yearly bike rentals, full-service maintenance shop, bike safety and maintenance class, bike lockers, and a locker room for bike commuters.
Along with that, Bike UNL provides a free Bike Valet services to encourage carbon-free travel to home football games. The free service is available two hours prior to the game and one hour after the final whistle. More information about the program can be found at bike.unl.edu/bikevalet
