AASHE 2019: Brittni McGuire presented "Growing a Tree: Building and Sustaining a Student Organization on Campus" at the 2019 AASHE Conference in Spokane, Washington. Brittni hoped to take a step back from talking about sustainability initiatives and focus more on sustaining your campus' own student organizations. Prabhakar Shrestha and Elizabeth Snyder presented "Designing/Developing Green Maps for Campus" at the 2019 AASHE Conference. They shared a case study of the UNL Green Map that shows where all the water bottle refilling stations are on campus.

The Sustainability Leadership Presentation Series (SLPS) is a collaborative live broadcast of highly qualified and credible speakers, presenting on regional topics of sustainability and global and local environmental issues. The SLPS stimulates needed discussion and provides examples for action, planning and problem-solving for leadership in environmental sustainability. Different institutions in Nebraska all collaborate to make this possible.
