DEAI Office is led by Chief Diversity Officer and coordinates the University DEAI Council through which all units of the university are represented including alumni, the foundation, and external contractors. Responsibility is for comprehensive institutional transformation.

UNO's Sexual Misconduct Training; Re-Imagining U courses on diversity and inclusion, Human Resources training on generational awareness, emotional intelligence, and understanding diversity; Gender and Sexuality Resource Center Safe Space Training. Computer based training that describes cultural competence through hypothetical workplace situations, provided basis for appropriate interaction and described actions available to help maintain a safe and welcoming workplace. Also in person training featuring well-known experts in the field of cultural competence, bias, etc....
