Has the institution calculated a natural water balance for the campus to assess the sustainability of its water withdrawal?:
Yes

A brief description of the methodology used to calculate the campus water balance:
Using the NetZero water toolkit, UNO calculated its campus water balance based on acres (maintained acres not total acres) and building square footage. Based on an average rainfall of 30.63 inches annually, the following campus water balances were determined:

Acres (235 acres)
Estimated gallons of water "falling on campus": 195,455,850

Building Square Footage - parking garages included (4,500,000 sq.ft)
Estimated gallons of water "falling on buildings": 85,429,800

A brief description of how the institution’s water withdrawal compares to the natural water balance of the campus:
In FY18, UNO used 103,113,296 gallons of water. Based on our campus water balance, UNO was able to use:

Acres: 92,342,554 gallons of water less than what is estimated to fall on campus.
Square Footage: 17,683,496 gallons of water more than what is estimated to fall on campus.
