A brief description of the textbook exchange program, textbook lending library, or alternate textbook project:
The Dr. C.C. and Mabel L. Criss Library keeps specific textbooks on reserve for students to check out as needed for designated periods of time. Faculty also provides copies of certain course texts, which students are also allotted a designated period of time to check out.

Yes

A brief description of the incentives to encourage the authorship, peer review, and/or adoption of open access textbooks:
"Open Nebraska," is a program under the University of Nebraska System. UNO operates within this system, allowing faculty to attain Open Educational Resources (OER) and Inclusive First Day Access eBook programs.
The UNO Department of Sociology & Anthropology launched the first Open Nebraska full degree program in the Fall of 2021.
