Heartland Bike Share Pass
A brief description of the campaign:
UNO's Student Government allocated up to $15,000 to be spent on providing free Bcycle passes for UNO students. Heartland Bcycle is the local electric bike share program with stations available all of the city and on our campus. Students were able to sign up for a free pass through continuous tabling opportunities in conjunction with International Student Services, as well as a social media campaign. This campaign will directly be targeting both international students who do not own personal vehicles and students in the residence halls.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Heartland Bike Share will have updated ridership data from before and after the passes were given out to students to see if there was an increase in bikes being checked out, especially at the stations on campus.
