Trash Talkers
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
As a Trash Talker, you will teach the UNO community how to be more sustainable, through waste reduction efforts. You will be trained in waste management and will lead peer-to-peer education on sustainability throughout the campus. Duties include: Educate the UNO community on how to properly use waste stream options at events and buildings on campus; Serve as assistant program managers for UNO Sustainable events Program, consulting students, staff, and faculty on developing and executing sustainable events; Lead waste reduction stations in Milo Bail Student Center; Conduct waste audits around campus to analyze contamination rates, educate students, and track sustainability goals; Host in-person and online educational events; Develop training and educational materials related to waste management and reduction

The target audience for this program is any student, staff, or faculty member who uses the Milo Bail Food Court Monday-Thursday.
