A brief description of the facilities for bicycle commuters:
UNO Wellness Center is available for free to all students while taking on campus courses. Faculty and staff do have the option to purchase a limited membership to the Wellness Center which provides them access M-F from 6am-1pm and all day on Saturday. Locker rentals are also available. Bike racks are located in the parking garage adjacent to the Wellness Center.

Bicycle parking is available throughout campus, near most occupied, non-residential buildings and near all residence halls.

UNO participates in the Heartland B-Cycle program, Omaha's nonprofit bike-sharing program that currently has 33 stations and 180 bikes in their system. UNO is home to 5 stations capable of holding ~7-10 bikes at each station.

MavRide provides free bus passes to active students, faculty, and staff. The MavRide program allows access to all Metro Transit buses during their hours of operation.
UNO provides a free shuttle service within and between campuses and from remote parking locations to campus.

The Emergency Ride Home program allows for a free taxi ride up to 4 times a year for those using sustainable transportation to get to and from campus.

Parking Services offers ride matching through our partnership with MAPA, via registration, and a ride share options search at metrorideshare.org. If a carpool is formed, you can be eligible for a carpool permit and reserved stall.

UNO previously had a partnership with ZipCar, however, that agreement ended in Fall 2017. Parking Services is currently investigating alternative programs.

UNO has three locations for charging electric vehicles on campus: 4 stalls on our Dodge Campus and 4 stalls on our Scott Campus.
The rate to charge is $0.50 for up to 4 hours daily. You must have a valid UNO permit to park on campus and utilize the charging station. After 4 hours the rate is $3 per hour.
