Does the institution make cultural competence trainings and activities available to all students?:
A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
Activities of the Office of Multicultural Affairs are advertised across campus and open to participation from all. URL: http://www.unk.edu/oma/. In addition to the Nebraska Cultural Unity Conference, there are several activities responding to the Heritage Months.
The annual World Affairs Conference sponsored by International Education is open to attendance from faculty, staff and students. In addition, a campus conversation table is open to those audiences through ELI (English Language Institute) to assist students in practicing conversational English.
