Tier2-1: Gender Neutral Housing
Director of Human Resources
Does the institution offer housing options to accomodate the special needs of transgender and transitioning students (either as a matter of policy or as standard practice)?:
A brief description of the program, policy, or practice:
UNK has a practice for Gender Neutral Housing. If a student has specific needs, there are limited accommodations available on a first-come, first-served basis to supply those needs. These accommodations could be met in a variety of our residence halls. UNK also has housing available for non-traditional or married students which could also be utilized.
