Tier2-1: Trayless Dining
Assistant Director of Business Services
Does the institution have a trayless dining program in which trays are removed from or not available in dining halls?:
A brief description of the trayless dining program:
In October, 2008, the Dining Services introduced "Trayless Tuesdays".In August, 2011, Dining Services completely eliminated trays. Trayless dining was adopted to decrease food waste and save energy. The program hopes to reduce over consumption and over eating, as well as cut energy usage and cleaning chemicals, and save water in the dish rooms.
