Has the institution engaged in a structured assessment process during the previous three years to improve diversity, equity and inclusion on campus?:
No

A brief description of the assessment process and the framework, scorecard(s) and/or tool(s) used:
A structured assessment specific to diversity, equity, and inclusion has not been conducted since 2009. However, the last strategic plan - Compass 2021 had a main goal of "enriching the experience of an increasingly diverse student body". The objectives included: 1) Fostering an inclusive culture that is focused on and values diversity, 2) Providing programs and support services for our evolving student body, and 3) Strengthening student success and engagement initiatives. UMU's efforts to serve an increasingly-diverse student body can only succeed long-term through deliberate work to create an inclusive culture that values diversity. Also, an Anti-Racism Task Force was formed in fall 2020.

Does the assessment process address campus climate by engaging stakeholders to assess the attitudes, perceptions and behaviors of faculty, staff, administrators and students, including the experiences of underrepresented groups?:
