This is already included in the calculation. In February 2016 we signed a 5 year contract through ENGIE for REC's certified through the Center for Resource Solutions and its Green-e Energy Certification Program. It went into effect in August 2017. We purchase RECs (solar) for 25% of our electricity load.

A brief description of the institution’s GHG emissions reduction initiatives, including efforts made during the previous three years:
Established a Green Revolving Fund. Projects include: LED Lighting replacements, Fume Hood conversions, Motion Sensor Installations, and Programmable Thermostats. Promote more sustainable transportation (biking - more racks, Bike Fix-it station, County Bike Trail through campus). Purchase REC's. - 25% Renewable.
