Name or title of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome:
Ecocup project
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Ecocup project is part of a bigger sustainable politic of dining and drinking equipment renting by the Sudents Associations Federation (FAECUM).
All major student events such as festivals and parties celebrating trimestrial university reopening or any events that required glass cups are now furnished by eco-responsible plastic cups. For major events, a deposit is required for the first purchase and is given back when the glass is returned.
These cups can be rent for free by students and with fees for employees, as many as needed. They are washable, reusable and have a long lifespan. The Ecocups are more and more visible in students and employees events, since they bring a sense of sustainability and significantly reduced tons of waste. They are more practical and very popular among the University's community.
