A brief description of how the figure above was determined:
The «Program-level sustainability learning outcomes» were identified by cross-referencing the results of the analysis of sustainability content in courses (AC1) with their program of attachment. To assure the reliability of the indicator, only sustainability-focused courses were used to this end and only programs that require the successful completion of one of those courses where considered (accordingly to the STARS 2.2 technical manual).
The number of graduates from those programs was considered as «graduates from degree programs that require an understanding of the concept of sustainability».
The mapping was done by the Bureau de la recherche institutionnelle [Office of Institutional Research] of the University of Montreal.
