The Université de Montréal's libraries have developped a complete subject guide on Sustainable Development. Although the University has no formal policy on open access for articles published by its professors, graduate students are required by the UdeM Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies to submit their thesis or dissertation in the institutional repository (there are only a few exceptions due to confidential issues). All theses and dissertations from 2009 onwards, and some from previous years, are therefore available online for consultation in open access and may be explored by subject. The Sustainability Office has released a guide for holding sustainable events on the University’s campuses. This guide aims to help event organizers further consider the natural and socio-economic environment of their event, so they not only reduce their negative impacts but also maximize their benefits.
