For many years, we have witnessed an aggravation of the air, land, and water pollution. Environmental health issues have taken worldwide proportions and are now at the center of social and political concerns.
The actions needed to limit climate changes, demographic growth, *impoverishment*(?), waste production, fossil fuel consumption, and overexploitation of natural resources represent tremendous challenges that we need to address for the sustainability and viability of future generations.
Therefore, the Specialized Graduate diploma in World Environmental Health aims to:
- increase the knowledge concerning the major issues specific to the global problems in environmental health;
- equip students so they can address the major environmental threats to public health.
