A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
The local bikeshare group hosts a sustainability bike tour of campus during welcome weekend in August. We also advertise this to all students, so if students enter the university in the Spring or Summer, they still have an opportunity to join the tour. We also have a sustainability information booth open during registration time at orientation events all spring and summer, so students can stop by and pick up brochures and sign up for information. We also include a sustainability flyer in all orientation packets that highlights the many ways students can participate in campus sustainability.
