Data source(s) and notes about the submission:

UM uses Paper Cut for printing services under UM's Managed Print Program, a program that tracks printing at all centralized printers across campus.

UM's Managed Print Program purchasing portfolio currently includes 30% post consumer recycled content paper. This equates to over 80% of centralized paper purchasing. Other identified (unknown PCR content) paper purchased with procards cannot be confirmed as PCR content paper. This suggests the amount of paper purchased with PCR content is likely higher than reported.

UM's Managed Print Program has replaced many desk side printers creating a network of centralized highly efficient Canon Printers across all of campus. This program has greatly reduced the amount of desk side printing that was previously done by staff, faculty, and administrators on campus and allowed us to better monitor printer/copy use so we can identify major users and target our paper use reduction strategies to these departments and users.
