A brief description of the graduate-level degree program:
Like the undergraduate degree, the graduate program in Environmental Studies offers students a multidisciplinary approach to learning about and finding solutions for sustainability issues. Students select a focus area in environmental education, environmental justice, traditional ecological knowledge, environmental law and policy, land and water, environmental writing or sustainable food and farming. With the guidance of their graduate advisors, student may select from a variety of courses within Environmental Studies and from other colleges across the university.

A brief description of the graduate degree program (2nd program):
The W.F. Franke College of Forestry & Conservation master's degree in Resource Conservation integrates classroom learning with hands-on field experiences and internships to prepare students for a range of conservation professions. Students develop a foundation in conservation science and then focus on the issues and topics about which they are the most passionate. Once admitted to the program, students choose to emphasize in climate and environmental change, community conservation, ecology, environmental policy, international conservation, rangeland management and ecology, water resources, wilderness studies, or wildland fire management, or to design their own emphasis working with faculty advisors.

Students can earn a B.S. or M.S. in Wildlife Biology or a PhD in Fish & Wildlife Biology.
