A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation (including how multiple dimensions of sustainability are addressed):
Every new employee is required to attend New Employee Welcome, a 3 hour program organized by Human Resource Services, that covers campus services, insurance benefits, sustainability, and a brief overview of about 10 other campus departments. The Sustainability Coordinator gives a presentation at orientation about campus sustainability and ongoing initiatives. Materials and contact information is available at orientation as well as emailed to all new employees. In recent years, other departments have included sustainability in their presentations during orientation including campus dining and transportation among others.
