Grow Well Missouri partners with food pantries, local organizations, and volunteers to establish food gardening programs that reach out to food pantry customers. http://foodsecurity.missouri.edu/projects/grow-well-missouri/#
This partnership supports all three dimensions of sustainability. Eating fresh produce is healthier, and therefore better for the wellbeing of those consuming it. Food pantry customers that grow some of their own food reduce the burden on food pantries which allows them to expand services to more underserved populations. Growing more local produce for food pantries decreases dependence on food produced by industrial agriculture.

"The goal of the collaborative adaptive management process is to improve water quality in Hinkson Creek by using a science- based approach guided by a local stakeholder committee. It will assess the entire stream system, including the creek and other
