Repurposing and Renovation –Energy Conservation and Solid Waste Reduction
UMKC has re-purposed through renovation two buildings on campus Cherry Hall Residence Hall into class rooms and offices home of the Arts and Sciences and Psychology Departments as well as Katz Hall, class room and research space into the home of the Architecture and Urban Planning Department. The spaces are now much more resource and energy efficient.
