The Office of Sustainability regularly presents as a part of the UM Welcome Home Employee Orientation agenda. Welcome Home is a day-long training seminar offered to all new employees. The Office of Sustainability introduces the concept of sustainability and its multiple dimensions, in addition to sustainability initiatives on campus, such as how to recycle correctly, ways to get involved and ways to involve students. New employees are introduced to the institution's commitment to sustainability, as well as how they can pursue a more sustainable lifestyle as individuals.
