A brief description of the institution’s efforts to support alternative fuel and power technology in its motorized fleet:

UMN Morris brought one of the first fully-electric Chevy Bolt's to its fleet in Minnesota. UMN Morris also installed one of the first electric charging stations in our region. During the past two years of the pandemic -- we unloaded many vehicles. Our goal remains to replace/lease high fuel-economy/electric vehicles as options are available.

In 2017, UMM brought the first fully-electric Chevy Bolt to west-central Minnesota and installed the first level 2 charging station. During the pandemic, we eliminated most of our rental fleet.
