UMN Morris has a variety of different practices designed to increase wildlife habitat on campus. Trees and shrubs with persistent berries are planted whenever applicable. In addition, we continue to plant evergreens to provide shelter for overwintering birds. Finally, our main stormwater ditch was designed to provide habitat for frogs, snakes, and birds.
