UMN Morris has a comprehensive composting program. We weigh our pre- and post-consumer organic diversion weights and we turn the materials into soil on campus and use it in our landscaping as a soil amendment. We used SIMAP to calculate the GHG offset from our composting program. We have also done organics recycling for our public school for many years -- we do not count those GHG emission reduction in our profile (which is essentially our own carbon offset project).
