On Jan. 1, 2015, the University of Minnesota implemented a policy regarding open access publishing covering all University of Minnesota campuses. All faculty have the opportunity to submit their work to an open access repository. The University of Minnesota has an open access publishing fund for faculty members, in which they can apply for funding. If accepted, it will help faculty pay for publishing costs, making it easier to publish on the University of Minnesota Morris "Digital Well," Morris's public repository.
