A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:
The Multicultural Center for Academic Excellence plans events and workshops for Asian Pacific Heritage Month, Cinco de Mayo, Black History Month, Ethel Curry Pow Wow, Hispanic Heritage Month, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day. These events enhance the student experience, as well as provide a respectful setting where divergent perspectives are articulated and discussed.
